Noordhoek Beach, one of the locations used for the filming of 'Ryan's Daughter' - 6000 miles from Ireland. Probably chosen not least for it's similarity, but for the fact that it always seems to be sunny on this side of the peninsular...which in itself seems odd since that's not the sort of weather you'd expect from Emerald Isle
