Over the last 4 years I have spent increasing amounts of time in the 'Country' and in particular, the county of Wiltshire. During this time I have been able to see first hand so many of the practices and pastimes that make country living the way it is.
For many the issue of the 'hunting, shooting & fishing' fraternity still rankles. I have at least spent time seeing and understanding a lot of this, and been accepted with my camera in places where there might normally be suspicion.
Contrary to many urban views, farming can be a hard way to make a living, and the hours that need to be put in could make city life laughable...
What's sometimes interesting is the response to my pictures by locals, who all too often overlook the surroundings that they take for granted.
