Although posted in kilometres and not miles, distances from Broken Hill are staggering. Travelling across some of the most remote parts of Australia should not be taken lightly, and wise drivers take 2 spare tyres, extra fuel and of course plenty of water. Temperatures on my trip through these parts exceeded 47 degrees.
